We cannot stress this enough: Please don't try this at home. Teenagers playing in a Pomona park over the weekend came across a javelin, and you can guess what happened next. According to CBS2 News, as a 15-year-old boy rounded a corner of a building at Westmont Park Community Center, another teen threw the weapon, unaware of his pal's proximity.

The result? According to CBS, the spear entered the victim's hip and exited his buttocks. Ouch. He apparently pulled it out himself. The teen is reported to be stable at a hospital.
