Kelela and Her New Happy Ending: Risk taking singer and songwriter Kelela has released a new remix of her “Happy Ending,” courtesy of A.G.

“This single—a grimy, euphoric flip and a nod to the rhythm & grime subgenre from London-based producer A.G—brings new flavor to a popular fan favorite from the original album,” reads the press release. “In this car and club-ready banger, A.G distorts Kelela’s vocals over a drill instrumental with Jersey club breaks to transport us deeper into her sultry universe while building the anticipation for the full album to a climax.”

“Raven was met with glowing reviews upon release and has been hailed one of the ‘Best Albums of 2023’ by Pitchfork, Billboard, Vulture, Variety and more,” it continues. “2023 has been an incredible year for Kelela, with the release of Raven, celebrated by a performance of ‘Enough for Love’ on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, and a successful sold-out North American and European, RAVE:N Tour in the spring.”

The song retains the sweet yet incisive edge of the original, version, but A.G’s beats take to a fresh places. Here to for yourself here.
