67-Year-Old Stockton Man Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Collision near Williams Drive

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (February 27, 2024) Johnny Lee Davis died Wednesday night in a pedestrian crash on Beach Boulevard and Williams Drive. Police officers responded to the scene around 10:00 p.m.

Authorities report that a gray 2021 Tesla Model Y driver, traveling south on Beach Boulevard, collided with a pedestrian named Davis walking west on the road under unclear circumstances.

Emergency responders pronounced Davis, a 67-year-old resident of Stockton, dead at the scene. The 33-year-old male Tesla driver stayed at the site and collaborated with the investigation.

Following preliminary duties, authorities do not believe impairment was a contributing factor. Huntington Beach Officials urge witnesses of the incident to reach out to investigators at 714-536-5231. Additional information will be shared as it becomes available.
