Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Hit-and-Run on South Broadmoor Drive

PALM SPRINGS, CA (May 31, 2022) – 39-year-old Jesse Fleury was killed Friday morning, in a hit-and-run crash on East Palm Canyon.

The suspect struck the victim around 7:00 a.m., in the area of East Palm Canyon and South Broadmoor Drive for reasons unknown.

Upon impact, the involved driver immediately fled the scene before the authorities arrived at the scene. First responders declared Fleury dead at the scene after suffering critical injuries.

Palm Springs authorities believe that the suspect’s vehicle is a 2012-2016 Porche Carrera. Moreover, both directions of the roadway were temporarily closed to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
