The inaugural Desert Rodeo, California’s newest ProRodeo, is set to debut in the Coachella Valley during the country music weekend. The three-day event fusing professional rodeo, retail and festival will take place from Friday, April 25 through Sunday, April 27 in Thermal, California at the Desert International Horse Park equestrian showgrounds.
Desert Rodeo is pioneering new ground within the sport, creating a daytime experience where the energy of a festival and the atmosphere of outdoor shopping meet the grit and tradition of a rodeo competition sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association.
There will be cowboys and cowgirls competing in heart-pounding events like bull riding and barrel racing, produced by Reno Rosser and his Flying U Rodeo. Shop the official hats of Desert Rodeo like Stetson, Resistol, and Charlie 1 Horse and customize it at The Hat Bar by Kate Kaney. There will be a country cookout with bars and BBQ on the Outlaw Oasis.
Desert Rodeo will include community-driven fundraising efforts to provide direct support to local families in the Greater Palm Springs area in their time of need, while empowering children to build courage through cowboy camaraderie with the help of Montana Silversmiths, Resistol and YETI.
Secure your passes at desertrodeo.com, a portion of the proceeds will go to the Los Angeles County Fire Dept.

The IRON Rodeo returns for its 10th edition, this time at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center, celebrating Western craftsmanship, culture, and resilience in an immersive, luxury-driven experience on Saturday, March 15 and Sunday, March 16.
The event will transform the legendary 3,500-seat Equidome indoor arena in Burbank into a wild Western spectacle, blending horsemanship, craftsmanship, and authentic Western fashion with the magic of Hollywood storytelling, with a pop-up by Yellowstone costume designer Johnetta Boone and rodeo performances by other horsey celebrities and VIPs.
In this edition, IRON pays tribute to the courage of L.A.’s ranching communities, highlighting stories of survival from recent wildfires and will lead a fundraising effort to provide essential ranching supplies and aid to those affected.
Rodeo #10 will feature an artisan market, hands-on workshops, custom Western-inspired cuisine, and a series of educational panels featuring leaders in the Western and entertainment industries.
