We were pretty serious when we encouraged you not to let the federal government violate your constitutional rights by fondling you at the security check points at LAX. And what do you do? You turn the whole thing into a big joke — a point of pride even.

Case-in-point: Foursquare's “baggage handler” badge, which you get after going through a thorough groping, announcing it to the public, and checking in at the geo-social site.

To post it as a badge of honor you're encouraged to shout “TSA,” “grope” or “Don't touch my junk, bro!”

Wednesday was the day you were supposed to opt-out of such madness. Now you're just mocking it.
