Driver Pronounced Dead after High-Speed Collision on Sevilla Avenue Northwest

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (March 20, 2024)Isaiah Sena was arrested Saturday, March 9th, after a deadly DUI collision on Coors Boulevard Northwest and Sevilla Avenue Northwest.

Police reported that a Ford Mustang, operated by 20-year-old Sena, was speeding in the northbound lanes of Coors Boulevard when he overtook another vehicle. Sena then disregarded a red traffic signal at an intersection, colliding with a black Ford Edge that was traveling through a green light.

The impact caused both vehicles to spin out, resulting in injuries to Sena and the Ford’s driver.

The male driver of the Ford sustained fatal injuries, and was pronounced dead at the scene. Sena was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics and has been charged with reckless driving and homicide.
