Tami Taddo, Founder of Taddo’s Tallow, is announcing the launch of her natural deodorant and whipped tallow following the recent rebranding of the company.

According to Tami, Taddo’s Tallow aims to bring a renewed understanding and appreciation of tallow products, which are often overlooked as a ‘hippie product’. The products she has developed by hand and through rigorous research to find natural ingredients can be found on her website and at the local markets she sells at. Tami founded her company following battles with skin cancer and eczema, which led her to seek alternative methods to treat her skin.

When she couldn’t find any solutions for her eczema a friend recommended tallow products as an alternative to name-brand products which can contain potentially harmful chemicals and substances. Tami hand-makes all of her own products with ingredients that are sourced ethically from family-owned businesses. She says her goal has been to stand out from other brands that sell tallow products.

“Many of the tallow products that are currently on the market don’t appeal to mainstream consumers and often alienate buyers with high prices. I designed my products to have a high-class appeal but they are all affordable,” says Tami. “My goal is to see Taddo’s Tallow become a household brand that people will know is free from harmful ingredients.”

The first product that Tami began developing was the lotion bar, which was a struggle at first for her to perfect as it would melt in her hand. After a brainwave, Tami shifted to a hands-free stick form that provided more usability and longevity.  She has since perfected the innovative lotion stick, which contains only five natural ingredients. The whipped tallow face and body butter that she is now launching is the latest offering from the Taddo’s Tallow product line, the hand-whipped butter is 97% tallow and Tami says she always gets and instant reaction from customers sampling it, who can’t believe how soft and nourishing it is on the skin.

Tami says her fight with skin cancer and not being able to find the right skincare products for her eczema has been a large part of the inspiration for maintaining the authenticity and purity of her ingredients and products.

“Being diagnosed with skin cancer really scared me and since then I have changed my mindset on using name-brand products for skin care,” says Tami. “As the company continues to grow I will keep using natural ingredients and I will never compromise with that. I would love the opportunity to be able to bring the brand into larger stores to offer people a healthier and more natural way to maintain their skincare.”
