57-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Head-On Collision near Miguel Bustamante Parkway

COLTON, CA (March 27, 2024)Gregory McDonald was killed early Saturday morning in a DUI collision at the 4000 block of South Riverside Avenue.

At approximately 2:30 a.m., law enforcement officers were called to the 4000 block of South Riverside Avenue near Miguel Bustamante Parkway. According to accounts, the driver of a northbound Ford F-150 pickup truck collided with a guardrail. Subsequently, the Ford veered into the opposing lanes, resulting in a head-on collision with a Toyota Echo.

Upon arrival, emergency responders pronounced the Toyota driver deceased at the scene. The individual was later identified as 57-year-old Gregory McDonald from Moreno Valley.

Simultaneously, authorities apprehended the Ford driver, 27-year-old Marcus Fiorillo of Banning, on suspicion of driving under the influence. Fiorillo was taken into custody and booked into the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga for gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.

Rialto Officials are asking those who witnessed the fatal DUI crash to contact Traffic Sergeant Dan Smith by email or at 909-644-6025.
