We have seen the future of journalism, and it involves the guy on the right giving out plastic surgery advice to politicians.

Today's installment finds Colin Stewart, the Orange County Register's “innovation columnist,” surveying plastic surgeons about whether Meg Whitman should have some work done. And — surprise! — the answer is an unqualified yes:

“Plastic surgeon Dr. Edward Domanskis of Newport Beach said she is 'an excellent candidate for a facelift' as well as for surgery to remove excess skin from her eyelids, an endoscopic forehead lift, liposuction on her face and neck, and laser skin treatments.”

And that's just for openers.

Now, before you denounce the sexism of this exercise, note that Stewart has done previous columns on whether Barack Obama and John McCain should get plastic surgery. He's been asking the hard questions for a while now.
