Like so many people, we thought 2020 was going to be our year, but it turned out to be a bit challenging, stressful and an emotional roller coaster so, my Zen was lost. When you forget to take care of your mind, body and soul, daily tasks become very daunting and depression can become part of our daily life if you don’t do anything about it. So, I wanted to find my Zen and make 2021 a great year by making self-care a priority.

I was always a fan of alternative medicine through the years and loved the natural holistic approach. Since I wasn’t able to get a traditional massage due to the lockdown, I decides to get Acupuncture and Cupping Therapy. I have tried both in the past and forgot how much I loved how I felt afterward.

Before you choose a place to go and get any type of Acupuncture or Cupping Therapy make sure they are licensed and qualified. I made an appointment with Dhanell Rocker who has been a licensed Acupuncturist and Qualified Primary Care TCM physician for 20 years. Dhanell treats many types or conditions from muscle injures, digestive issues, depression and many more.

Dhanell has an approach and demeanor that will relax you and put you on the road to finding your Zen right away and an incredible touch with her technique with the needles and cups. She works out of the Optimal Performance and Recovery Center in Seal Beach. If you have any questions give her a call or make an appointment, you will glad you did.

I’m excited to say I left happier, lighter and on the road to finding my Zen.
