The Orange County Fair held this weekend through August 12 provided attendees with crazy food treats from frog legs to extra large bacon covered doughnuts. Adventurous foodies enjoyed two-pound turkey legs, deep fried Spam, and even a healthier option that included a pineapple filled with shrimp cocktail, fruit and grilled chicken. There was a delectable chocolate exhibit, culinary demonstrations by local top chefs and a daily pie-eating contest sponsored by Knott’s Berry Farm. All photos by Susan Slade Sanchez.
