RADIO BROADCAST #318
05–03–15

Fanatic! Here it is, once again, another two hours of great warm weather listening.

I have all the records I got at RSD 2015 but have not yet had the time to check them out. The two Iggy records and the two Sun Ra’s are up first for sure.

I don’t like having to assign time to listen to records, but when things get busy, I find that is exactly what I have to do. It’s usually at night when things slow down and I can concentrate. I try to make a list of everything I listen to in the order I hear it, so I can always go back to a particular night and zero in on anything that was especially great and also if it’s something we should put on the show. It’s a good way to make sure you’re listening to enough music, as if that’s possible.

Teresa from Le Butcherettes sent me a copy of her new album. I have listened three times now and it’s fantastic. I don’t know when she’s putting it out or who will do it, but I have to think it will be this year. When I know more, so shall you.

Cool HTRK releases and re-releases. Here is where to go for info: https://ghostly.com/artists/HTRK. We have another track from the Body Lotion EP on the show. Next week, we’ll rock a track from one of their harder-to-find releases.

Hedersleben, featuring the mighty Nicky Garratt of the U.K. Subs, is playing in Southern California all this weekend. If you’re reading these notes early, you can perhaps check them out.

Here is venue info: https://www.facebook.com/HederslebenBand

Here is a cool live show of them with Captain Sensible:

We will finish tonight’s show with as much of their track “Zu Den Neun Welten” as we can fit in.

We hope you enjoy the music. Next week’s show is already underway. This radio show is relentless. It is never out of my thoughts for very long.

Thanks for listening and STAY FANATIC!!!
