RADIO BROADCAST #302
01–11–15

Fanatic! Sometimes the show just comes together like it was made to be. That’s how it went with this particular broadcast. It’s like all the songs were waiting to jump into order and had no other purpose other than to leap out of your speakers whenever you get the chance to listen.

It is the beginning of the year and I am hoping for a lot of great releases like last year.

I recently got some more great music from Australia, so get ready for that, also I have been transferring a lot of vinyl to digital and will hopefully have tracks to put into the shows pretty frequently.

A lot of In The Red label stuff on tonight’s show and it’s all really good. I am very happy Larry put out the Red Aunts retrospective. It sounds so great on vinyl.

Talk about sounding great on vinyl: The Brigitte Fontaine re-issues on Superior Viaduct sound incredible. If you like her stuff and only have the CDs, you are missing out on the full potential of those albums.

I am very happy about this live Devo record on Futurisimo. I have played it three times now and am loving it. Tonight we play a track from it and we will next week as well.

I think since the year is so new, it’s easy to catch up if you missed our first show of the year. I think 2015 is the year you listen to every single show we roll out and never miss a single one!

L.A. Area Show Alert Dept.: Inger Lorre on Jan. 16 at the Satellite, going on at 9:30 pm. Details here.

Get into 2015 and STAY FANATIC!!!
