Torrance’s Smog City Brewing Co lands at Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken in Santa Monica

The third installment of Astro’s Summer Beer Series spotlighting local craft brewers, Astro and Smog City have collaborated on a tasting of exclusive beer-infused doughnuts and fried chicken paired with a flight of complementing brews. Enjoy an afternoon brews and bites on the inviting Astro Patio with the Smog City team will be on hand to talk about the five beers on tap and the brewery’s approach to crafting unique, challenging and exceptionally balanced beers.

The flight and food tasting features:
Smog City Tropical Farmhouse Saison paired with a Fried Chicken Tender, lightly battered, fried and tossed in a mango Tropical Farmhouse Saison sauce.

Smog City IPA paired with a Fried Chicken Slider with Smog City Little Bo Pils tomato bacon jam, arugula on a savory doughnut.
Smog City Coffee Porter paired with a Churro Doughnut topped with a cinnamon glaze, chocolate Coffee Porter drizzle and a dusting of cinnamon.
