79-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Crash near South Peach Avenue

TYLER, TX (March 20, 2024)Evencio Arellano died Monday morning in a pedestrian accident at the 1800 block of Front Street. Police officers responded to the scene around 8:40 a.m., near South Peach Avenue on March 18th.

Reports indicate that a vehicle collided with 79-year-old Arellano at the intersection. As a result, Arellano was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later passed away due to his injuries. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene during cleanup and preliminary duties.
