Two Teens Dead, One Hospitalized after Single-Car Accident near Haven Avenue

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (March 12, 2024)Elias and Sarah Cruz died late Friday afternoon in a solo-vehicle crash on Wilson and Haven Avenue. Police officers responded to the scene around 4:25 p.m., near Chaffey College.

Reports indicate that the driver of a westbound white Ford Mustang lost control at the intersection. The Mustang then collided with an electric power pole before striking a tree. Both the driver and the passenger sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.

The Los Osos High School has since identified the deceased victims as 17-year-old Elias Cruz and 15-year-old Sarah Cruz. Meanwhile, paramedics transported a 17-year-old male passenger to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries that are not life-threatening.
