Fall DUI checkpoints have returned to Los Angeles with a vengeance.

With Halloween approaching, don't get spooked by that black-and-white in your rear-view. You better drive sober, or not at all, the Los Angeles Police Department warns.

To that end, the LAPD wants you to know that its officers will be on the hunt for you this weekend. They're even telling you exactly where they'll be. Hipsters and club-goers should be especially vigilant. They're coming to your haunts and haunting your hoods.

-Tonight from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. a DUI checkpoint will be happening near the heart of clubland, at Hollywood Boulevard and Bronson Avenue in Hollywood.

-Tonight from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. a checkpoint will be waiting for you on Sunset Boulevard and Fountain Avenue in Los Feliz.

-Tonight from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. a checkpoint will be awaiting your arrival at Vermont Avenue and 108th Street in South Los Angeles.

-Tonight from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Manchester Boulevard and Main Street will be the location of another South L.A. checkpoint.

-Saturday from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. it's Echo Park's turn: The LAPD will be operating a checkpoint on Sunset Boulevard and Coronado Street.

Be safe.
