Dom Irrera may be the comedy link between Rodney Dangerfield and today's alt-y malcontents. Discuss.

L.A. WEEKLY: Who do people say you look like?

IRRERA: Sadly enough, I was hoping for Pacino but a lot of times I get Eddie Murphy.

Does your act have a “Margaritaville” that your fans insist you do?

Yeah, “Little Petey,” “Big Petey” and “Joey Bag of Donuts.”

What's pissing you off these days?

Questions.

What's the secret to your career longevity?

My overwhelming immaturity and my failure to let go that I've actually graduated college.

You have more euphemisms for sex than the Larry Flynt Stylebook (and I have a copy). What's your favorite?

How would you like to throw the bologna in that meat wagon?

Any new ones?

Knocking boots.

How much is too much for a haircut?

You can't put a price on beauty. I would pay anything I had to, to make my head look more beautiful.

What do you like best about L.A.?

A nice cup of coffee and reading L.A. Weekly.

Where do you go to be alone?

Onstage.
