53-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Fiery Collision near Mile Marker 861

VIDOR, TX (March 21, 2024)Dolores Munoz died late Monday morning in a fiery car accident on Interstate 10 near Mile Marker 861. The incident occurred at approximately 11:15 a.m., on March 11th.

Authorities report that James Wyatt was operating a 2021 Dodge Ram 1500 when it collided with a 2016 Dodge Ram 2500, driven by Javier Munoz, on the eastbound lanes. Additionally, a 2023 Nissan Murano was involved in the incident.

Despite attempts by medical personnel, a passenger in the 2016 Dodge Ram, identified as 53-year-old Dolores Munoz, was pronounced dead at the scene. Furthermore, 60-year-old James Wyatt, from Orange, was also pronounced deceased at the scene.

Meanwhile, paramedics transported Javier Munoz to St. Elizabeth Hospital in critical condition. The occupants of the Nissan were treated for minor injuries at the hospital, but their identities have not been disclosed.

No further details regarding the I-10 crash have been disclosed to the public. Police will provide more information once available.
