Sophie Rain has made a literal fortune as a content creator on OnlyFans, while maintaining her image as a Christian virgin. In fact, she doesn’t just think God is ok with her content on the platform — she thinks he is the reason for her success.

Rain said in an interview: “I have a very close relationship with my church and I love God. I believe that he will forgive your sins for anything, and I think that he’s happy that I’m successful.”

Former Married At First Sight star Hayley Vernon does not agree, as she publicly announced last year that she was leaving behind OnlyFans after becoming “born again in her faith.” The 32-year-old got her first taste of fame on the Australian season of the television show, becoming known as the woman who used a toothbrush that had been used to scrub a toilet by fellow MAFS star Dave Cannon.

After the show, Vernon left behind her career as a finance broker to become a high-class £600-an-hour escort — and OnlyFans star. She revealed she made more than $1M selling content on OnlyFans, as well as sharing content on other X-rated platforms to try to drive traffic to her page.

But all that ended last year when Vernon announced on Instagram that “God has bigger plans for me than what I’m doing.”

In the Instagram video that is no longer available on her page, Vernon was baptized in the lake and included a Bible verse: “‘For I know the plans I have for you’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’ Jeremiah 29:11.”

The caption went on, starting with: “Yesterday I was born again in my faith making a public declaration to the outside world based on the inward transformation I have experienced through finding Christ. My relationship with my faith has changed every aspect of my life. IYKYN and if you don’t when I say EVERY aspect I hand on heart can confirm not one negative has come through finding Christianity, quiet the contrary every corner has levelled up and what wasn’t serving me has fallen to the wayside.”

Vernon continued in the post: “There isn’t enough space or even words to explain the transformative goodness of God. Every inch of my life has changed for the better, finding my faith has given me a firmer foundation to live my life on. It’s absolutely by far been the best thing that has happened to me. I would have called you crazy if 6 months ago you would have said I’d be here.”

The 32-year-old Melbourne native opened up to Joshua Fox on a recent podcast about her experience with OnlyFans.

“The line becomes quite blurred. You start acting so much and becoming this character that isn’t you, that you actually forget to be you. Then when it comes to interacting in everyday life and normal conversations you actually start getting riddled with anxiety and fear. Because you’re so used to standing on something that is so far removed from who God has called you to be and who you were made to be.”

And because Vernon seems very concerned about foundations, she closed with: “That you just don’t have a firm foundation any more.”

Hopefully Vernon feels like she is back on solid foundation with her new path.
