Country Club Drive Traffic Collision Left One Driver Dead

RIALTO, CA (June 10, 2022) – On Wednesday, 42-year-old Daniel Montano died after a car crash at a Rialto intersection, authorities said.

According to the report, the crash happened around 3:11 p.m. at Riverside Avenue and Country Club Drive.

Investigators said a red Toyota Tacoma, driven by Montano, ran a red light at the intersection.

As a result, the Tacoma collided with another vehicle, sending the second vehicle to flip. Unfortunately, Montano died at the scene.

Meanwhile, first responders transported the woman driving the second vehicle to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Authorities said Montano was initially fleeing from a scene of an earlier collision before running into a posted red light.

Rialto Officials suspected that alcohol played a role in the accident.

Those with further information regarding the accident are encouraged to contact local authorities as soon as possible.

No words can mend the broken hearts and sorrow felt during this delicate moment. Deepest condolences and sympathies are with the family and friends of Daniel Montano.
