With almost 100,000 attendees, Anime Expo has become the largest anime convention in Los Angeles. Organized by the nonprofit Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation, the convention spans the July Fourth holiday weekend with hundreds of programs, panels, shopping halls and cosplay photo ops. Guests gathered at the Rilakkuma San-X booth, purchased Kawaii Drake keychains from Sparkle Bombb and posed for photos wearing their most creative cosplay. Photos by Shannon Cottrell
