Exchange LA
Almost exactly two years prior to this end-of-year bash at Exchange LA, ARMNHMR participated in our “Not Another DJ” column, collectively telling us that, “We’re constantly evolving our palette while maintaining that foundational idea of having melodies being the driving force.” At the time, they had just released the “Saving Lives” single. Of course, their palette has evolved further since then. See for yourself. DZMA, Fixion, and Hidden Axis also perform.

LA Guns
Whisky A Go Go
As they did every year, Sunset Strip rockers LA Guns will be performing on New Year’s Eve at the iconic Whisky A Go Go. The band’s history is storied and involves a little bit of family crossover with Guns N’ Roses. They’ve split and reformed more than once over the years, various members falling out with various other members. 2021 saw the proper LA Guns release the appropriately titled Checkered Past, the third since founding guitarist Tracii Guns rejoined classic-era vocalist Phil Lewis in the band. Back in 2017, Lewis told this writer that: “It’s going really good. Tracii and I are getting along really well now.” YAY! American Jetset, Slant, Whiskey Dogz, All Sinners, and Villa Nova also perform.
