20-Year-Old Man Arrested after Deadly Solo-Vehicle Crash near Neal Spring Road

PASO ROBLES, CA (March 13, 2024)Carlos Diaz and Aliandro Gomez were hurt early Monday morning, and Angel Ramos was arrested after a fatal hit-and-run car accident.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:30 a.m., on Creston Road just west of Neal Spring Road.

According to reports, the driver of a 2008 BMW 328i lost control at a high speed, causing the vehicle to veer off the road and overturn multiple times, resulting in the ejection of three passengers onto the road.

Emergency medical personnel responded, transporting 41-year-old Carlos Torres Diaz and 47-year-old Aliandro Torres Gomez to Sierra Vista Medical Center in San Luis Obispo with significant injuries.

There, a 43-year-old passenger from Santa Maria succumbed to their injuries at the scene, though authorities have yet to disclose their identity. Investigations revealed that the driver of the BMW fled the scene. On Tuesday, CHP apprehended 20-year-old Angel Melquiades Ramos on suspicion of hit-and-run and vehicular manslaughter.
