MEHOW Hendzel is a world-class dancer and choreographer from Lublin, Poland, who has established himself as a force in the global dance industry. From humble beginnings as a young DJ, he transitioned into dance at age 13, joining the renowned UDS dance group and competing internationally. His career spans major competitions, commercials, brand collaborations, and performances with music icons. Now, as a faculty member at Millennium Dance Complex since 2022, he continues to shape the industry by mentoring new talent and pushing creative boundaries.
Early Life in Poland

Growing up in Lublin, Poland, Mehow was driven by his determination to become an artist despite coming from a distinctly non-artistic family. He attended law school by day while relentlessly honing his craft by night. Breaking into the professional dance industry was an immense challenge early on, especially in a small city with limited opportunities, and overcoming societal skepticism about dance as a career in post-communist Poland added another layer of difficulty. However, his steadfast dedication to pursuing excellence enabled him to overcome these trials and tribulations.
Through near-constant travel and endless training to improve and refine his skills, he began competing internationally and made a name for himself abroad. He did all of this while balancing his law studies with becoming a full-time dancer.
Achieving Dancing Success
MEHOW’s journey from a young man eager to perform to an internationally recognized dancer showcases his unyielding hard work and perseverance. His achievements with the UDS dance group, including multiple world championship medals and success in TV competitions, brought him international recognition. Following these accomplishments, he transitioned from Poland to Los Angeles, where he expanded his career by working with global artists such as Chayanne, Dua Lipa, and J. Cole. Reflecting on his path, MEHOW emphasizes the power of commitment, stating, “Dedication and passion can turn dreams into reality, no matter where you come from.”
Currently, MEHOW has a role in Chayanne’s tour, performing across the United States, Latin America, and Europe. In addition to this, he is actively collaborating with major brands such as Puma, Balmain, Apple, Sony, and Panasonic, appearing in several advertisements. Furthermore, he has also become a dance educator, passing on his extensive knowledge of the craft by teaching at renowned studios across Europe and the U.S. He even founded CapCollective, a unique program that merges his two professions into one: dance and law.
Future Aspirations

Aspiring to shape the future of dance, MEHOW plans to continue performing, choreographing, and mentoring the next generation of dancers. He is delighted to see all of his hard work pay off in such a splendid fashion and aims to participate in major global tours and creative projects for years to come. At the same time, he is excited about transitioning into more prominent choreographic and creative director roles, allowing him to further showcase his artistic sensibilities on a larger scale and expand his dance education efforts. To bring these aspirations to life on U.S. soil, he hopes to secure a Green Card.
