It seems like it was only 16 years ago that it was 1995, and it seems like it was only yesterday that society was fraught with censorship, sexual repression and an excess of steam-based culture. In deference to the immutability of the changing times, the 16th annual Victorian Feast opens its gilded doors to three days of intrigue, dramaturgy and knitted contraceptives with a bunch of the wildest Luddites this side of the Garbage Eaters. Expect a dinner of Champagne and fancy crud
like crudites and poached salmon — the poacher of which will be summarily shot for the delectation of all. If you love make-believe and the fetishization of time itself, this anachronistic weekend will be so inescapably heady that you'll powder your wig, make your date dress up in one of those Victorian corsets and court her until you both run out of DNA.
