28-Year-Old Rider Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Walnut Road

LAS VEGAS, NV (September 14, 2022) – Monday afternoon, Brandon Jirard Marx was killed in a motorcycle crash on Las Vegas Boulevard.

The incident took place just before 1:00 p.m., near the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Walnut Road. Dispatchers responded to the scene shortly after receiving multiple calls, on September 12th.

Per reports, the driver of a pickup-truck was making a U-turn while the southbound motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed. There, the motorcycle collided with the front passenger side of the pickup-truck.

Paramedics arrived and pronounced 28-year-old Marx dead at the scene.

In addition, an 80-year-old passenger inside the pickup-truck was transported to UMC trauma for treatment of minor wounds. Meanwhile, the 79-year-old male driver of the truck displayed no signs of impairment.

At this time, an active investigation into the motorcycle crash on Las Vegas Boulevard is still currently underway.
