Born to be Wylde: Guitarist Zakk Wylde made his name playing in Ozzy Osbourne’s solo band, so who better to lead a Black Sabbath tribute band called Zakk Sabbath at the Belasco. Also in the ranks are bassist Blasko (Ozzy Osbourne, Rob Zombie) and drummer Joey Castillo (Danzig, Queens of the Stone Age), so the resumes are solid.

Wylde formed Southern rock band Pride & Glory after leaving Ozzy’s band, then of course metal band the Black Label Society. More recently he’s been touring with the reformed Pantera, and earning rave reviews under difficult circumstances. So Zack Wylde can do anything, and a set of Sabbath tunes is well in his wheelhouse.

Born to be Wylde: The event takes place at 7 p.m. on Saturday, January 20 at the Belasco.
