French OnlyFans model Julie Luxie, was found dead in her apartment in the Parisian suburb of Corbeil-Essonne. The apartment was reportedly locked from the inside according to police, who do not seem to suspect foul play. However, they have opened an investigation into the death.

Luxie, whose real name was Julie Pospieszny and also went by other pseudonyms, including Julie Diablotine, was a French influencer as well as OnlyFans model. The 21-year-old had nearly 40,000 followers on Instagram where she regularly shared content until recently. It was the lack of activity on social media that concerned many, including her father. He reportedly called Paris police to request a wellness check after he was unable to get in contact with her for two weeks. That was when her body was discovered, along with bottles of nitrous oxide, or laughing gas. An autopsy is planned to determine Luxie’s cause of death.

As news of her passing spread around the internet, people began sharing their thoughts and prayers to her family and friends.

“The poor parents who will have this as the last picture of their daughter,” one person commented on Julie Luxie’s final Instagram post.

Another added: “Condolences to the family. Rest in peace, may God open the doors of heaven.”

“RIP. Thoughts go out to her family and her loved ones,” a third person shared

“May she rest in peace, too young to leave,” another said. “Your path was yours no one has the right to disrespect you even more since you left.”

Yet many people are going out of their way to speculate on her cause of death, in both respectful and disrespectful ways.

And one common theory being shared online is the abuse of nitrous oxide. The Alcohol and Drug Foundation details how some people use the colorless gas to get high on their website. It also says, “Dentists and medical professionals use it to sedate patients having minor medical procedures, and it’s also sometimes used to treat people withdrawing from alcohol dependence. It is also used as a food additive for whipped cream, and to enhance engine performance in the automotive industry.”

Anyone using nitrous oxide outside of carefuly monitored situations is at risk of a heart attack, fainting or low blood pressure. These situations can be very dangerous becuase, according to the foundation website: “Inhaling nitrous oxide can be fatal if you don’t get enough oxygen, which is known as hypoxia.”

Of course, others blame Julie Luxie’s older ex-boyfriend. While there have been no reports of Jaoued Daouki, now 37, being considered by the police, some are speculating that he could be connected to the situation. Daouki is well known in France, with more than four million followers on YouTube and a million on Instagram. The unlikely pair began dating when Luxie was only 16 years old, which put Daouki at a little over twice her age at the time. The age gap is legal in France, and Luxie’s parents were reportedly okay with the relationship.

Daouki has had some trouble in the past, including a rape allegation in 2023 (he has never been formally charged) and an online fraud investigation which led to him being fined. But none of that points to an involvement in the death of his on-again, off-again girlfriend.

Daouki, who lives near Luxie’s home, recently published an emotional tributs to her on his Instagram account, saying “I will always love you”.

Whatever happened to Julie Luxie, she will be missed by many who knew and loved her.
