Sorry, white folks, but your golden era of majority rule will come to an end this century, the U.S. Census predicts.

In honor of your achievements, including the greatest democracy on the planet, prosperity and world domination after World War II, and Kate Upton, we thank you for your leadership and pray the rest of us can fill those huge Jimmy Choos of yours.

But don't bristle when we do:

The U.S. Census this week predicts the end of a white majority in the United States in the year 2043:

While the non-Hispanic white population will remain the largest single group, no group will make up a majority.

Aw. But don't be said, white people. Your procreative prowess ensures years of growth.

In fact, while your majority status will end, your numbers will continue to increase and peak with a historic high in 2024 of 199.6 million of you buggers, according to the Census. Today your numbers are at 197.8 million.

But — oh boy, hold on to your lapels, Republican Party — the Latino population is expected to double from 53.3 million today to 128.8 million in 2060.

That means that nearly 1 in 3 Americans will be Latino by that year, sort of like in California, where that's the mix (and then some) today.

Minorities will make up a majority (try to get your head around that oxymoron) — comprising 57 percent of the population — by 2060, says the Census. America's minority population will also double.

In California whites make up nearly 40 percent of the population today and hold on to majority status by a hair (Latinos are closing in). Sounds like we're headed toward the Californication of America.
