37-Year-Old Perris Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Crash near Decker Road

MEAD VALLEY, CA (April 15, 2024) Alfredo Aparicio died Monday morning, in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash at the 22600 block of Cajalco Road. Police officers responded to the scene around 3:15 a.m., near Decker Road.

The driver of a vehicle struck a male pedestrian in the area and then fled the scene without providing aid or informing authorities. The vehicle’s body was found around 7:42 a.m., approximately .2 miles from Seaton Avenue, just west of I-215.

The deceased pedestrian was identified as 37-year-old Aparicio from Perris by the coroner and the California Highway Patrol. Police have not disclosed any further details about the suspect or the vehicle involved. Mead Valley Officials urge witnesses of the hit-and-run to reach out to the CHP at 951-637-8000.
