Driver Involved in Watsonville Hit-and-Run near Alisa Circle, Arrested

WATSONVILLE, CA (October 14, 2022) – Wednesday morning, a hit-and-run on Clifford Avenue led to the arrest of Alexis Chavez.

The collision occurred around 8:00 a.m. after Chavez struck two parked cars near Alisa Circle.

According to reports, the impact of the collision caused the suspect’s car to overturn. Chavez then fled the scene on foot. However, witnesses to the crash were able to give police enough information to locate the suspect.

Later, authorities managed to locate 26-year-old Alexis Chavez on Pennsylvania Drive and Winding Way. Chavez has apparent injuries from the incident; however, it remains unclear whether or not she was intoxicated.
