A Los Angeles “food stylist” who creates tasty photos for the likes of the Food Network, La Brea Bakery and Whole Foods says he was taken off a plane over the weekend after a fellow passenger complained about his tattoos:

Fists together, Adam C. Pearson's tats spell “ATOM BOMB.”

He was booted from the Delta flight Saturday and put on another plane that ended up in Memphis. Pearson's tweets about the situation set off a firestorm of support for him.

“If this pasngr was uncomf with my tattoos why wdnt they offer to rebook them on another flight, why do they need to bother me,” Pearson tweeted.

He stated that he's flown 140,000 in the last two years, ostensibly without incident.

Pearson later joked via Twitter, “I made it safely out of trader joes , no one even questioned my purchase of 45 tamales!!”

He has stated he wants a public apology from Delta. No word yet from the airline.
