Michele StuevenIdyllwild Arts School, known for talented alumni like Shepard Fairey and Casey Abrams, is hosting a “Day of Healing Through Art” on Friday, March 21 for students whose homes, schools, families, and communities have been impacted by the recent devastating wildfires.
The school, ranked the top high school for the arts in the U.S. by Niche, is welcoming students aged 13-17 to visit the mountaintop 205-acre campus to experience a day of art, reflection, and relaxation.
The daylong programming includes open mic performances, lunch, art workshops, ballet and hip-hop dance classes, a dance concert, a handmade bracelet workshop with the fashion department, and a “What We See in You is Wonderful” cinematic storytelling workshop with the film and digital media department. The event is free and open to the public, but guests must register for a ticket to attend.
