JEFFERSON COUNTY, TX (April 17, 2024)Quintella Zenon died Monday night, and Ashley Jarrosay was hurt in a 2-vehicle collision on U.S. 90. Police officers responded to the scene shortly after 6:00 p.m., just west of McDermand Road on April 8th.

Police report that 36-year-old Jarrosay was driving a westbound Toyota Highlander, while Zenon was operating an eastbound Chevrolet Camaro headed towards Old Nome Road. For reasons yet to be determined, Zenon failed to yield as the Toyota turned east onto Highway 90.

Moreover, Jarrosay and a child passenger sustained minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Both Zenon and Jarrosay are residents of Beaumont, according to investigators.

Emergency services temporarily closed off the surrounding area for cleanup and initial procedures. An ongoing investigation aims to uncover more details about the incident on US 90, with updates to follow once available.
