78-Year-Old Woman Fatally Injured in 2-Car Accident near Golf Course Drive

ROHNERT PARK, CA (January 20, 2023) – Wednesday morning, Jane Ables was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Labath Avenue.

The incident occurred around 7:30 a.m., near the intersection of Golf Course Drive West and Labath Avenue.

According to reports, a GMC utility truck that was heading east on Golf Course Drive collided with a black Mercedes sedan that was turning south onto Labath Avenue.

Due to the impact of the collision, the female driver of the Mercedes succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office later identified the deceased driver as 78-year-old Ables, of Rohnert Park.

Meanwhile, the driver of the GMC sustained moderate injuries. Following preliminary duties, authorities ruled out intoxication as a potential factor in the incident.
