20-Year-Old Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Collision near Pinasco Road

STOCKTON, CA (September 21, 2022) – Early Sunday morning, Gabriel Martinez was fatally struck in a hit-and-run on State Route 26.

The incident occurred around 4:37 a.m., near Pinasco Road.

According to reports, police located the victim with injuries consistent with being hit by a vehicle. Due to the extent of his condition, medics pronounced him dead at the scene.

Family members later identified the deceased victim as 20-year-old Martinez.

Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. At this time, the suspect remains at large. The loved ones of Martinez urge anyone with further information to contact local authorities.
