Saturday, June 28, is turning into Christmastime for foodists. Not only will this paper be throwing a taco party but the Rose Bowl will be crammed full of chefs, food trucks, food carts and stands — more than 100  vendors — for the fifth L.A. Street Food Fest. So much food, so little time.

The L.A. Street Food Fest will take place from 4 to 10 p.m., June 28, at the Rose Bowl. (Tacolandia is from 3 to 7 p.m., so yes, you can do both. In theory, at least.) For the fifth year of the Street Food Fest, there will be not only many favorites from previous years but new stuff, too. There will be an Iced Coffee Lounge this year, along with the return of the Tequila Tasting Tent. And the food?]

Among the many, many great vendors planning to be there: Urban Oven, Luckdish Curry, the Grilled Cheese Truck, Azteca Truck, Foodism, Kraken Mobile, Currywurst, Aloha Plate, Home State, Badmaash, Mexicali Taco, Short Order, Guelaguetza, El Coralense, Greenspan's Grilled Cheese, Bizarra Capital, Starry Kitchen, Dog Haus, Mariscos Jalisco and Kitchen Mouse Vegan Café. And from Baja, Mariscos El Mazateño, Tacos Kokopelli and Aqui Es Texcoco. For a complete list and for more information, check out their website

In order to maintain a little order, tickets to the L.A. Street Food Fest are presale only, capped at 5,000. General admission tickets go for $55 per person and VIP early-admission tickets are $80. VIP tickets include parking, a lounge and Matt Biancaniello's cocktail-infused oysters. Lucky you. Tickets include all you can eat and drink. No tickets will be sold at the door.
