Two Pronounced Dead after Fatal Car Accident near Heritage Road

CHULA VISTA, CA (January 4, 2022) – Sunday evening, two people were killed in a fiery auto collision on Olympic Parkway.

Firefighters responded to the two-vehicle accident around 10:00 p.m., near Heritage Road on the east side of the city.

According to a witness, one of the involved cars was speeding and crashed into another vehicle, sending one of the cars flying off the road.

Upon arrival, police located one vehicle engulfed in flames, trapping two people inside. Emergency crews extricated the two occupants and pronounced them both dead at the scene.

At this time, authorities have not yet identified the deceased victims. Chula Vista Officials are asking anyone with information on the Olympic Parkway crash to contact 619-691-5151.
