29-Year-Old Motorcyclist Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Collision near Jarvis Road

COPPERAS COVE, TX (May 8, 2024)Brandon Wayne Fitzwater died Sunday night in a motorcycle crash at the 1200 block of US 190. Police officers arrived to the scene around 8:30 p.m., on April 7th, near Jarvis Road. The Copperas Cove Police and Fire Departments revealed that Fitzwater, the motorcyclist, was speeding in the westbound lanes when he lost control and crashed into a vehicle. Numerous witnesses provided assistance to those affected by the accident while awaiting official intervention. Upon arrival, emergency responders transported Fitzwater to Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center in critical condition. Despite medical efforts, 29-year-old Fitzwater succumbed to his injuries shortly after admission. The Copperas Cove Police Department has refrained from disclosing further details, and the incident continues to be under investigation.
