Male Pedestrian Pronounced Dead after Fatal Collision near West 21st Street

SANTA ANA, CA (May 6, 2024) – One man died late Saturday night in a pedestrian accident at the 2100 block of North Bristol Street.

The incident occurred at approximately 10:00 p.m., near West 21st Street.

After an initial investigation, it was determined that a northbound vehicle collided with a pedestrian who was walking west across Bristol Street. The male pedestrian passed away due to his injuries at the scene.

The identity of the pedestrian has not yet been disclosed to the public. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle involved in the incident remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

Preliminary investigations by police suggest that alcohol and drugs did not contribute to the collision. Authorities in Santa Ana are urging anyone who witnessed the fatal pedestrian crash on Bristol Street to reach out to Detective Corporal D. Carrillo at 714-245-8208.
