LA Weekly has just learned that ZTPR Inc., a popular public relations agency that started here in Los Angeles, is expanding its reach and launching a new pet-geared division alongside animal wellness industry leader, Pet Karma Media.
The global pet market industry is currently at $261 billion and is considered one of the fastest-growing market segments according to Global Industry Analysts. During COVID-19, 12% of adults adopted new pets and more than half (51%) of Millennials currently buy gifts for their pets once a month or more, which translates to more than 70% of US households (90.5 million homes) owning a pet to-date.
Since launching ZTPR in 2014 here in LA, Zack Teperman has expanded his firm across America, into Canada and the UK, while helping handle accounts for A-list celebrities, musicians and entrepreneurs, including start-ups invested into by Mark Cuban and other pet lovers like Gene Simmons. Teperman himself has recently rescued a puppy from South Korea and has been involved both personally & professionally with animal foundations including PETA, Wolf Connection, Barks of Love, Sale Ranch Animal Sanctuary and the Arizona Equine Rescue Organization, while also handling the PR campaigns for iHeartDogs.com.
With years of experience bringing awareness to organizations that help animals, while garnering media exposure here in Los Angeles and across the United States for product/service brands, Teperman tells us exclusively that now was the right time to fully invest into a division at his agency to handle the high demand of the pet marketplace and how this partnership will allow pet brands – whether new or established – get more eyeballs on their offerings whether it be through digital, print, TV or other forms of media.
“Pets and animals in general have always been a part of ZTPR’s DNA since the start, and while we have handled many brands/companies in the pet marketplace, we never had a division fully dedicated to it. By partnering up with Pet Karma, the time is now for people within the industry to have a reliable place to come to get their message out to the masses through the media channels and the exposure we provide at ZTPR!” Teperman says.
Marshall Morris, the Chief Karma Officer at Pet Karma Media who has donated over $1M+ for Veterans with PTSD and provided over 30,000,000 meals for shelter pets, echoed Teperman’s words in a statement to LA Weekly: “We are thrilled to announce the dynamic collaboration between Pet Karma Media, the leading authority in pet market media, and ZTPR, the renowned global Public Relations firm. This powerful partnership is set to redefine the pet industry landscape, combining Pet Karma Media’s unrivaled expertise in pet market insights and content creation with ZTPR’s exceptional ability to drive strategic PR campaigns on a global scale.”
