31-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after High-Speed Collision near Kessler Drive

EL PASO, TX (January 17, 2024) – One woman died Monday morning in a high-speed crash at the 8600 block of Gateway Boulevard East.

Emergency responders arrived at the location near Kessler Drive promptly after receiving multiple dispatch calls. Upon investigation, it was found that a 31-year-old woman was operating an SUV at a high speed and collided with the rear of a U-Haul mover’s truck.

Despite attempts to save her life, medics declared the female SUV driver deceased at the scene. However, her name and place of residence have not been disclosed by authorities. To facilitate cleanup and preliminary tasks, emergency crews temporarily closed off the surrounding area.
