One could consider this a night of music. After all, it features a rare performance by Glen Meadmore, everyone's favorite, seven-foot-tall gay Christian cow punk, and an even rarer appearance by incomprehensibly notorious aural abusers Beyond Joy and Evil. Wrangled by Jon Aes Nihil — a cryptic, demented fellow as well-known for peddling WWII memorabilia, serial killer trinkets and obscure films at flea markets around the Southland as for directing his own cinematic classic The Manson Family Movies and interpretations of various works of Tennessee Williams — the revolving cast of musicians, explosive devices and dramatic recitations is by turns profoundly disturbing and absurd. Beyond Joy and Evil will be joined by the Goddess Bunny, the polio-stricken drag queen who transformed herself into the most glamorous star in Hollywood, as well as starring in the Aes Nihil classic, The Goddess Bunny Channels Shakespeare.
