West Coast Sound has extolled the virtues of Wait. Think. Fast. before, but today, as the video for Journaleras debuts, we remember how much we love them. The shuffle of Matthew Beighley's charango–a 10-sting miniature guitar he purchased in Argentina– alongside his wife Jacqueline Santillan's careening vocals infuse Northern English moodiness with Argentine rhythms that stir dance moves from the waist-down. The band returns to Tucson to finish up their new record produced by Craig Schumacher, who, fittingly, produced Calexico and Neko Case. Wait. Think. Fast. also releases their single “Look Alive,” on iTunes today.
We're keeping an eye on Wait. Think. Fast. but you can too. After the jump we have their new video, an MP3 and a look back at their phenomenal Echo Park living room session.
