Dangerbox, a student improv troupe based at New York University, recently came to Los Angeles to solve Hollywood's creative logjam (the one in which good movies aren't being made anymore).

The crew made a video spoof (embedded after the jump) of Hollywood's impenetrable movie-making machinery, coming to the conclusion that if Californians passed marijuana-legalization effort Prop. 19, more tax money would be going around and things might be rosier in the industry.

We're not sure what the connection is between higher state tax receipts from pot sales and more green lights for Hollywood films. But Dangerbox made a cute clip, in any case:
