High-Speed Motorcycle Accident Resulted in Two Fatalities

LAS VEGAS, NV (February 19, 2024) – Late Sunday evening, police responded to a motorcycle accident on East Tropicana Avenue.

On the night of February 11th, around 10:30 p.m., the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department received a call near South Eastern Avenue.

Witnesses recounted seeing a blue 2005 Kawasaki Ninja, with two occupants, speeding, as per initial reports.

Following this, the rider lost control of the Ninja, crashing into a curb and leading to their ejection from the motorcycle.

Unfortunately, both individuals suffered fatal injuries and were declared dead by responding emergency personnel.

A segment of the roadway was temporarily shut down to enable cleanup and preliminary tasks.

At this time, the identities of both men were not yet released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office. Further investigation is still ongoing.
