Saving the Season: Citrus
In celebration of citrus season, the Institute of Domestic Technology is hosting a one-day workshop on preserving, mixing and cooking with citrus. Participants will receive a light breakfast, four class sessions and a citrus-inspired lunch, along with an instruction manual, recipe book and take-home citrus creations (sweet citrus preserves, lemon rosemary sorbet, salt-cured lemons, ratafia, fruit cocktail).

Jazz Nights at Salt's Cure

Every Tuesday night, dinner at Salt's Cure will be accompanied by live jazz music from the Kyle Crane Jazz Duo. Chefs Chris Phelps and Zak Walters will serve their locally sourced dinner menu from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. Reservations can be made via Open Table at opentable.com/salts-cure-reservations-los-angeles.

Fish Pop-Up at Malibu Pier Restaurant
 
Chef Jason Fullilove is hosting a pop-up with Kris Morningstar (Ray's & Stark Bar), Brendan Collins (Larry'sWaterloo & City) and Phillip Franklin Lee (Scratch Bar) at the Malibu Pier Restaurant. Each participating chef will serve two dishes for a total of eight courses. Cooking Class at Border Grill
Border Grill's chefs and owners Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger are teaching South of the Border brunch basics in a demonstration-style cooking class. Guests will receive a multicourse brunch (including chorizo skillet chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, fruit salad, guava yogurt, and smoked sable with lime cream cheese), seasonal mimosas and a recipe booklet.
