Immersive experiences are here to stay and Netflix is leading the way. After last year’s successful Bridgerton-themed Queen’s Ball, the streaming service has joined forces with Fever events to present the Stranger Things Experience, an interactive trip to Hawkins, Indiana where the show is set. The bulk of the Stranger Things encounter takes place inside the laboratory where Eleven and other children were held and experimented on due to their psychic abilities. In this walk through, patrons are tested for their own powers when things go haywire and all hell breaks loose.

The kids from the show try to help guests forge a daring escape as the evil Dr. Martin Brenner and some vicious demogorgons go against them. We won’t reveal too much more than this, but suffice to say, a mixture of live actors, filmed sequences featuring the actual cast and some cool 3D elements come into play. Season 4 supercreep Vecna makes an appearance, too.
It all concludes with a colorful, photo-op-packed food, drink and retail environment recreating the 1980’s shopping mall from the show, with themed merch and era-appropriate music that fans of the show and retro vibes will find totally awesome.
